EVENT 2025 QMJHL Cup
Corso was one of the more steady and reliable defenders for Team Bergeron throughout the course of the tournament. He was quite effective on DZ retrievals, demonstrating strong scanning habits which allowed him to make accurate reads on his touches and get the puck up quickly to his forwards which helped facilitate clean exits from the zone. In the offensive zone he made a handful of shrewd pinches at the top of the zone, opting to step down and break up breakout passes and generate puck touches for himself low in the offensive zone.

EVENT 2024 CCM Challenge
Corso proved to be a solid all-around defender who played a large role in Amos’ transition game when he was out there on the ice. I like how he relies on his edges to peel back on his regroups when he doesn’t like what’s in front of him, opting to reset the play and skate the puck up if the ice is offered to him. He has a lot of whip and accuracy on his outlet passes, often hitting his teammates on the blade, allowing them to maintain their stride and attack the zone with speed. Corso possesses a long stride that he uses to backtrack hard on puck-carriers if he gets turned around, which allows him to close in quickly on players and disrupt plays. He helped run one of the power play units for Amos, distributing the puck adequately from the top of the zone and showing an ability to get pucks through from the point. I’d like to see him get more aggressive in his rush defending and keep a stronger gap, but he does have a lot of the tools necessary to succeed at the next level.
