I was impressed with the defensive side of Quinn’s game at the combine, he did a great job smothering puck carriers, forcing turnovers, and intercepting passes. He was aggressive and did a great job working up and down the ice, getting stuck in and making timely interventions to dispossess his opponents and launch counter attacks quickly. He was a good outlet passer and was able to create some odd-man rushes with his distribution from out of the back. He showed flashes of speed and skill on a solo rush up the ice where he worked himself a very good shooting opportunity that nearly resulted in a highlight reel finish.
