EVENT 2025 QMJHL Cup
I didn’t think Guévin looked out of place at all here, as he was making good use of his touches and even flashed some skilled moments in the offensive zone. He was a useful member in his team’s transition, making quick reads and showing good accuracy on his passing that allowed his linemates to skate into pucks and attack the blueline with speed. He had a good knack for locating space with the puck on his stick, frequently getting himself into open areas of ice in the offensive zone and even leveraging his puck skills at times to maneuver around defenders and get himself a look in a dangerous scoring area.

EVENT 2024 CCM Challenge
Guévin is another one of those smaller players with skating deficiencies who relies on his intelligence and playmaking to contribute offensively. While he was held pointless throughout the tournament, I thought he had some strong flashes of creating in transition as a puck-carrier by attacking the middle of the ice, drawing pressure towards himself then kicking it to the outside to teammates in space. He did some strong work off-puck in the offensive zone by keeping his feet moving and constantly looking to get himself into space or pressure opposing defenders looking to force turnovers.

EVENT 2024 Hockey Québec U16 Summer Camp
I thought Guévin got better and better as the camp went along, culminating in a really strong performance in the final game that made me see his potential as a QMJHL prospect. He’s a player who’s at his best when his feet are moving and he’s playing with energy, pressuring opposing defenders with his quick footwork and forcing turnovers at the line. He showed some really strong sequences of puck-transporting in transition with his speed by attacking the middle of the ice to draw pressure in then dishing outside to a teammate in space. Guévin was making some strong feeds in transition as well, snapping hard and accurate passes to teammates in stride to allow them to maintain their stride and enter the zone with speed.
