EVENT Hockey Manitoba Boys U16 POE Camp
I really liked his play over the course of the event as he’s a controlled outlet passer, a heads up player, and one who uses the fluidity of his edges to curl into receptions and passing outlets. I linked his ability to cycle wide and dash to the middle on a give and go attempt in the offensive zone, and he was keeping in front of even some of the top end players like Brady Filmon to match their efforts in one on one rush sequences. Much like other Manitoba defenders, you hope he can add a bit more size and power to his motions but he’s doing a lot right. I loved the open stance, his ability to puck rush when needed, and his ability to delay in order to set up shots in the middle.
