An undersized yet intelligent defender who possesses a good amount of talent but is an extremely raw prospect. I liked the way he was able to leverage his edgework at times to change directions quickly to avoid pressure with the puck, work his way into space and move the puck up ice. He did a good job of reading and reacting to the play around him, either picking his spots wisely to join the rush or jumping down from the offensive blueline to work his way into open space to make himself a dangerous passing option. He still has a long way to go in terms of building strength and rounding out his defensive game, but I am intrigued with him as a prospect.
