A tall and lanky player who played more of a depth role for the Rousseau-Royal but who stood out in moments, nonetheless. The majority of the notes I have on Roberge consisted of his strong play in his own end where he did a great job supporting his teammates in puck battles and showing good awareness and engagement which allowed him to break passes and disrupt dangerous chances. He was also quite adept on the penalty kill where he was getting his stick and body into lanes to block passes and shots and initiate clears out of the zone.
