Game Information 2025 Whitby Silver Stick vs. JRC
The towering power centre, Logan Prud’Homme, there is a reason why he is considered one of the 2026 OHL Draft’s top players. His unique blend of size and skill makes him a highly coveted player as he is able to move around the ice like he is much smaller despite his massive frame. He used his skating ability and speed in transition, stickhandling and using his smooth hands to work around defenders. He is not afraid to use his body either, digging in on the boards and throwing his weight around finishing his checks in all three zones. He also showed some good defensive instincts in this game, using his long reach to take up space and deny zone entries and snuff out plays. He only racked up one assist but was a very valuable and noticeable member of his team.

Game Information Prep U16 vs Hill Academy
It wasn’t the best game for all of the Upper Canada forwards, but Prud’homme was the only one who really caught my eye. In a game where Hill controlled most of the play, I liked that he was trying to drive and attack. He had a few nice rushes of beating defenders, attacking wide, and cutting in for chances, that were some of UCC’s better looks in the early stages of the game. His ability to handle pucks in motion and use his frame to shield the puck from defenders was at the core of these rushes, showing what he can do with his physical tools to create advantages. He won some battles and made the simple plays to link plays together, and had a pretty good performance in a tough game.

Game Information 2010: Honeybaked vs. Upper Canada College
Like many on the UCC side, Prud'homme didn't generate a ton of offence, but I still thought he added value. He was battling for pucks, applying pressure, and forcing turnovers. I thought he used his long reach well to get in opponents space and free up pucks. He didn’t have many puck touches, but when he did, he was making the smart decisions to link plays and maintain possession. Prud'homme had one high-danger chance in this one, forcing a turnover right in the slot and getting a prime scoring chance off his efforts.

Game Information Wendy Dufton: Upper Canada College vs. London Jr. Knights
Logan didn’t land on the scoresheet, but he was the player I was most impressed with in this game. He was constantly winning pucks all over the ice, contesting in battles, and gaining possession for the UCC side. With the puck, his hands and reach were quite the advantage, enabling him to pull pucks around sticks and maintain clean possession. His ability to play with the puck on his stick while in motion was once again impressive, as no matter what defenders did to close him down, he had the move up his sleeve to dodge and navigate to safety. Especially when operating along the outside of the offensive zone, Logan could extend plays, dominate off the cycle, and control the flow within the offensive third. While his efforts didn’t find the back of the net, it was a really promising performance from one of the top players out of Ontario.

Game Information Draft Day Showcase
Prud'homme was one of the top performers over the Draft Day Showcase. Of course, the physical tools jump right off the page at 6'6, but I was impressed with some of his decision-making and handling. Whenever he had the puck, I thought he frequently made the right play, rarely opting for something uncontrolled, and wanted to make something happen. Logan showed some impressive flashes of puck skills, navigating his way out of small spaces, weaving in-and-out of defenders effortlessly, all while in his large frame, making it all the more impressive. Put this smart decision-making and confidence to make plays together, and Logan was consistently creating offence, attacking the net, and driving chance after chance for Team HEO. I did come away thinking there is room to get more agile and explosive in his skating, but there are tons of tools to work with, and I look forward to watching more and more of Prud'homme this season.

Game Information WSI: Maroon vs. Boston Hockey Club
Logan Prud’homme’s huge frame was used well to his advantage in a number of ways throughout this game. His long reach was something he utilized well defensively to ensure he got a stick into the passing and shooting lanes, deflecting and suppressing attempts to get the puck through to goal and stifling opportunities with regularity. He followed puck carriers as they looked to get down low and ran them towards the boards where he was able to pin them up against the boards and wedge his stick in to dislodge the puck. He established body position well in front of his net, boxed players out, and cleared loose pucks out from the crease. He was a trailing option on rushes up ice where he came in late and provided a shooting option, and he did well to follow up chances and pounce on secondary opportunities like he did for his tally in the third period.

At 6’6 and 187 lbs it was impossible not to notice Prud’Homme every time he stepped on the ice. However, what impressed me most was his ability at such a young age to know how to consistently use his size intelligently to create advantages for himself and his teammates. He is a very raw prospect, but I really liked his ability to read and react to the play around him, using his reach to get his stick into lanes and also poke pucks off defenders’ sticks. He had an obvious advantage along the perimeter in the offensive zone, using his body to shield the puck from defenders and a make hard cuts to the front of the net where he was able to flash some nifty hands in tight in moments.

Game Information 2024 CCM 68: Canada 3 vs. USA 3
Prud’Homme was Canada’s best player in this game, he utilized his big body very well in this one. Prud’Homme didn't score in this game, but had several great shots. Using the defender as a screen and pulling the puck closer to his body, then releasing it to get it past the defender. What impressed me most was his ability to keep the puck on his stick while taking on multiple defenders at a time. He would take guys one on one utilizing his big body and would usually come out with the puck, then drive to the net and create chaos. He did, however, have a great assist in this game: using his body, he made a cross-seam pass to a teammate who snuck in back door. Overall I was very impressed with Prud’Homme’s game, his ability to use his size and skill made for a very fun game from the young forward.

Game Information 2024 CCM 68: Canada 3 vs. Europe
Once again Prud’Homme was able to leverage his size to make positive plays all around the ice, while also mixing in a little more skill than I saw the last time around. He was utilizing his reach to disrupt plays all over the ice, whether it was poking pucks off defenders in the offensive zone to win back possession or using it to chip pucks past opponents in the neutral zone to create odd man advantages. He had some really strong passes in transition as well, executing some difficult saucer passes over sticks that hit teammates in stride and allowed them to attack the zone with speed. Prud’Homme showed off some good hands on the game-winning goal when he located a loose puck in tight and used a forehand-backhand move to beat the goaltender.

Game Information 2024 CCM 68L USA 4 vs. Canada 3
At 6’6 and 187 lbs, Prud’Homme was able to use his physiological advantages around the ice to make a positive impact at times. He was using his reach to chip pucks from pinching defenders in the neutral zone, work his way around them and generate odd man rushes with some of his puck touches. He scored his team’s first goal by winning a board battle below the goal line, feeding the slot for a dangerous chance then banging home the rebound in the crease.
