The left-shot defenseman was showing his lankiness and his ability to power into the middle of the ice off the rush and dictate that everyone pay attention to him. He was constantly looking for end to end rushes and at times went barreling into the goaltender. He moves like a player easily in the top-30 for this draft and most of his decisions leave a player wondering how he looks in a different system or how he finds his way to be both a difference maker and a good compliment defender. I think the potential is really high though. He can break down pressure and quickly attack in a counter effect. He knows how to get into lanes and catch passes in motion as well. When he was on the PP you could really see his mobility and how he opens up space laterally. He will be on our first top-25 player release for PuckPreps.
