Thisdelle is another one of those players whose quite easy to project to the QMJHL. He’s a speedy and physically mature forward who is very difficult to contain with the puck on his stick, often looking to attack defenders head on and push them back on their heels. He’s a physical presence off-puck as well, often driving his feet looking to disrupt play and lay body checks on opposing defenders. He’s had some flashes of impressive playmaking, connecting on passes while operating at top speed to create dangerous chances for his linemates. Thisdelle has a chance to become a top-six presence if he can begin to modulate his pace with the puck on his stick, rather than always hitting his top speed and looking to attack scoring areas regardless of what’s in front of him.
