Everything that was attempted in this game came with intelligence, quick hands, and ample awareness of where his teammates were, especially when moving into the slot. He began with chipping pucks to himself along the boards, spinning from pressure, making incredible lateral passes and timed slot passes, while also finding room to snap pucks against the grain. I loved the pacing and the overall top end speed of his motions too which is exciting when you think about his growth potential too. On the backside of plays too he was driving players into the boards defensively.
