Joel Henderson
Director of Scouting
EVENT Rocky Mountain Classic
He simply finds a way to move pucks up ice against strong competition. It is simpler in its unfolding but he can push harder side to side and move into spacing through the neutral zone if he needs. He has that size and power to really implement himself in both ends. Those huge hits in the middle of the ice are strong and show off an ability to set the tone in a way that many defenders in this class aren’t able to. I felt like the hits were smart, calculated, and aggressive. I think the rest of the year is about uncovering how he builds his offensive capabilities upon his ability to match up against stronger players on any roster.
