Game Information 2026 Alliance All Star Game
Evan Miller plays the game with urgency and determination and has a constantly humming motor that carries him up and down the ice. He has good footspeed and quick hands, moving the puck to his fellow teammates in transition and setting them up for scoring chances. On top of his playmaking, he has a hard shot that gives him the ability to beat goalies cleanly, giving him the ability to be a true multi-threat scorer. On the defensive end, he shows good habits and a sharp mind, able to use his motor and physicality to snuff out opposing chances.

Game Information 2025 Whitby Silver Stick vs. STA
Miller’s crafty hands and ability to escape pressure in small areas stood out in this game. When he was working in the offensive zone, he played with a skilled, calculated approach, evading defenders with slick touches and finding ways to create space. He had a good mix of pouncing off the wall into shooting lanes and driving and dishing, showing a good display of different ways he could drive offence off cycle opportunities. Evan recorded an assist when he walked off the wall and fired a shot that sparked a rebound goal net front. I liked the display of processing and tools from Miller, showing a blend of practical application of his skills to drive offence and make things happen.

Game Information 2025 Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic vs. Senators
Similar to McCotter, Evan Miller was hounding the puck all game with plenty of touches, hopping on loose pucks left and right. He showed great speed and downhill drive, excelling in transition breaking into the offensive end with ease. He was able to work his way past opponents and fight through the defence, getting into position with the puck and getting plenty of shots off from scoring areas.

Game Information 2025 Whitby Silver Stick vs. Marlboros
One of the best words I would use to describe Evan Miller’s game is hustle, I have seen him many times this season and his motor is almost always on high, this game was no different. He has quick feet that he used to transport himself all over the ice, chasing down loose pucks and forechecking inside the offensive zone. He was always battling and when he was not, he usually had the puck on his stick, looking to advance play in a positive direction. He ended the game with a goal and assist, the goal itself was a great encapsulation of his hustle as he was able to read the play and get himself into a good lane and drive his way to the net and score on a nice forehand/backhand breakaway goal.

Game Information Alliance U16: London Jr. Knights vs. Huron-Perth Lakers
Evan Miller embodies a great power and skill game, his neverending motor carries him down the ice and right into the opposing end. It paid off well for him here as he drove hard to the net and was able to pot a goal off a rebound effort. His skill level is quite high as well and he was able to take some nice shots off and set up his teammates as well. His motor also makes him attack opposing players and win battles for his team. A great effort all around for #13.

Game Information 2025 Toronto Titans Tournament
The first thing that jumped out to me with Miller was his physical tools. He’s sturdy on his feet, skates with a strong explosive strides, and how he used these tools was the focal point of my notes. He showed to be difficult to knock off the puck, using his frame to protect pucks, and extend plays. Especially down low and off the cycle, Miller was operating with control in small-spaces, using a good mix of tactical touches and body positioning to shield pucks and create advantages. All of this resulted in a handful of scoring chances from attacking off the cycle, getting off the wall, and driving the scoring areas. The Lakers’ have quite a few notable players who caught my eye, and Evan is another one that landed on my watchlist to keep seeing how he develops over the year.

Game Information Alliance U16: Huron-Perth Lakers vs. Windsor Spitfires
Evan Miller is a good example of a Huron-Perth player this season, blending power and skill to make himself a threat. He can explode down the wing with the puck and drive the net, which is how he opened the scoring in this game, tucking it past the Windsor netminder on his backhand. He has good speed and good skill with the puck on his stick, which made him a threatening forward as both a passing option and scorer.

Game Information Draft Day Showcase
Miller was at his best controlling the puck along the perimeter, using his hands and poise to dictate play. He consistently created offence by delaying wide, slipping passes into the slot, and making smart reads off the wall. Evan always seemed to be able to fend off a check along the boards, spin off pressure, and keep things alive when operating in these tight quarters. While he primarily operated on the perimeter, there were some moments when he showed a tactical approach to his puck touches to navigate his way to the middle and attack the scoring areas. All in all, just a well-rounded performance showcasing a good balance of projectable offensive skills.
