Chartier is currently tied for the team lead in goals on a struggling Shamrocks team with ten. He finds quiet areas in the O-zone where he can get a quick, hard shot off that often finds the back of the net. Chartier plays a tenacious game and has a willingness to get to the net. He plays physical and has shown that he will not shy away from contact in his first year of junior hockey. He has been lethal on the powerplay as that's where half of his goals have come from this season. Chartier’s USHL rights belong to the Tri City Storm, where he has appeared in four contests over the past two years.
