At 6’4, Belle plays a heavy game and is strong on the puck. He struggled in game one taking a hooking penalty, then had a D zone turnover trying to make a pass on a breakout early in game two. After that he played more physical, fought off defenders to set up a couple of scoring chances, and saved a goal in the third period of a 2-2 game, blocking a shot on an open net. Although somewhat inconsistent, Belle showed flashes of high-end skill which could make him a really dangerous player with his size.
