I’d describe Tyson’s game to be permeated with strength and “jam”. He spent the weekend delivering strong cross ice passes, finding successful end-to-end rushes to gain the zone and using his simple finesse pull and drag moves to tuck backhanded five hole moments or wrap around plays from behind the net. I made note of a couple moments where he was in motion and had to stick the puck up to his stick at speed as well as the desire to put himself in good shooting spaces in the slot. The culmination of his determination and strength was the difference maker throughout the games though. That’s how he finds his moments. He’s having a strong season as he’s 7th in league scoring with 34 goals and 13 assists in 17 games.
