It was a wonderful showcase of a game for the skills of Knox. He’s a player who gives you full effort on every shift to track down pucks on the forecheck, read where coverage is coming from, spin off that coverage, build separation space in small windows through his crossovers. His smart little hesitations and touch passes were all working as well when he’d wait that extra delay for a teammate. His attempt to go five hole on a 2 on1 chance was quite sneaky.
