Sanderson was the best forward for Team Northern Plains in this game. He scored the lone goal in this one for his team which was a nice shot on a breakaway. What really impressed me in this game was his willingness to drive to the net. It did not matter who was defending him, if it was a one on one he was going to the net. This resulted in some great chances in front for his team that were not capitalized on but were nevertheless great scoring chances. Sanderson was very close to tying the game in the second half as he hit the post with minutes left on the clock.

Sanderson had himself quite the productive outing in this one, finishing with two goals and an assist in his teams winning effort. His shot is quite the weapon, which was evident on both his goals where he was able to find space in the offensive zone with the puck and fire a hard and accurate shot that beat the goaltender clean from distance. Much like Anderson, Sanderson was using his size to protect the puck along the perimeter in the offensive zone, which helped his line excel off the cycle and get pucks to the interior of the ice.
