Figliomeni has been a player who hasn't jumped off the page with Marlies' viewings early in the season, but I've been noticing him more and more as the season goes on. In this game, I found Anthony effective in the offensive zone, controlling the play low in the zone and along the boards. He effectively protected the puck on several of these cycle sequences and then attacked the net after winning an advantage from a defender. Outside of these puck protection sequences, he had a handful of impressive passes, spotting cutting teammates and linking plays together to advance play up ice or into the dangerous areas.
