A very similar playing style to his teammate above, Cayden Block’s speed and physicality were his biggest assets and what made him so difficult to contain. He was a nuisance to the opposition as he got in quickly and aggressively on the forecheck, completely unafraid to throw his weight around and lay a big hit in the attacking end. He played with a chip on his shoulder and he was very effective at getting under the skin of each team he played against. He used his quick first step to leave defenders in the dust and get into good attacking positions to do some damage in transition. He played well with his head up and made quick and accurate passes before getting himself into a good position to receive the puck again. I liked what he brought to the table and he was a huge reason why his team was so successful.

Cayden Block was the player for Madison that I felt made the biggest impact on the game. I liked what he brought to the contest as he was playing with nice speed and won his fair share of races to loose pucks beating out the opposition in the process. He hustled hard on the back check and was able to delay some chances as a result of his hard work. He kept his head up on the puck and was the primary playmaker on the team, constantly buzzing and using his legs to beat his man and work openings for himself to create. He was successful in the faceoff circle all night and gave his tema a chance to get some good chances by establishing possession right away. Madison was outplayed but Block did very well and looked like he might have been the one to orchestrate a comeback for his team.
