He’s got good size already at 5’11, 175lbs and uses it to explode into body checks. He timed a check very well and certainly finished it off. I’ll be watching to see if he is being purposeful in his physicality in the future as a strategy or if it’s just a situational thing. I didn’t see enough to know. His shot release from the point was a lower snap too. I think he will be a player that WHL scouts keep an eye on.
