Speaking of Bryant, he played an important role in this one as well, starting with his breakaway goal that was important given the timing of it. His ability to identify the open space as well as the opportunity that was presented and accelerate into space for his breakaway was good, and he made no mistake as he remained composed with the defense breathing down his neck and ripped it past the goaltender. He had a bad boarding call halfway through the first that was pretty bad, but the player seemed fine which is always great to see, and Bryant came back out and influenced the game even more afterwards. He was constantly quick to loose pucks and showed good hand-eye coordination to settle a loose puck out of the sky and turn it into a toe drag shot. His defensive stick was good and was able to create a couple of chances off of forced turnovers. A tricky player who is capable of getting breakaways with the slightest of openings, Bryant was a real threat.
