Carbonneau is a player that endears himself to those who love the fun and joy in the game. While a bit of a passenger outside of the offensive zone, boy is he a talented offensive zone player. Remarkably skilled, and almost too confident, Carbonneau was determined to get pucks into dangerous areas on multiple occasions. He’s a strong kid on his skating base, resisting pressure well and keeping defenders at bay. There were a few good forechecking moments as well, generating turnovers in the offensive zone with good anticipation ability and quick strike stick checks.
