Liam Power showed off some strong scoring intangibles and touch to further establish the St. Louis AAA Blues offensive presence. He made good plays with the puck to quickly move it under pressure, create give-and-go scenarios moving with nice pace, he darted to open areas of the ice upon sending off a pass and receive it back within the slot, quickly releasing the puck on net. He appeared to be one of the lead shooting options for his team, particularly on the powerplay, playing a dual-role of both high-bumper, along with shooting threat. His quick one-touch passes from the bumper position made it tough for defenders to close in on him, ultimately pulling systems apart and creating some chaos for the other team, giving him the time and space he needed to find ice to quickly get a shot on the net. He generated some offense under his own power on a few nice rush chances, creating space to the outside with some good speed, shooting in stride, working around outreached sticks, and manipulating his release angle, he found a way to generate through a multitude of obstacles.
