Give Liam another goal and assist to add to his impressive tally this tournament. He ends the tournament with at least one goal in every single game and has scored some highlight reel tallies. His composure to collect a tip-in goal while falling would be at the top of most players reel if it weren’t for the fact that he scored two different between-the-legs goalies earlier in this tournament. Some players just have that “it” factor and Liam has it in spades. He has such nuanced instincts and feel as a goal scorer. He always seems to be in the right spot at the right time and has the patience to outwait his defensive mark, let them make the first move, then absolutely punish them.

Liam is the more net-focused of the two brothers and his sense of timing around the net is impeccable. He is also more apt to attack the defence himself as he has the stickhanding ability to get the puck interior more consistently. He has that natural goalscoring instinct of always being in the right place at the right time and has shown, even just in this tournament, the ability to score in any and every way. Forehand, backhand, dangle, tips, rebounds, between the legs, he’s shown it all. Some players just have that knack and Liam is certainly one. He has a goal in every game so far and the questions is less “will he score?” and more “How many will he score?”.
