It was an excellent performance out of Lakovic especially in London with strong combinations of chip and chase intensity, an absolute rocket on the breakaway sprung by Ben Kindel with an opportunity for another later in the London game. There were some issues getting pucks settled at times, resulting in some ill-advised turnovers, but by and large, he was great on the rush, used skill in transition effectively, and landed himself on the scoresheet through his raw finishing ability. While a bit quieter in game 2, he had some good rushes, working through pressure effectively with his frame and speed, with some creative offensive zone passing moments that chipped in offensively.
