Projection: Top Six Forward
Projectable Skills: Finesse/puck protection in motion, board strength, Shot power/Accuracy
Development Opportunities: Agility
Prabh can truly dominate moments in the games. If you let him build speed and attack a defender one on one off a zone entry, he is excellent at using his strength, reach, and little fakes to drive into the middle and find his way to dangerous spots. He has an accurate, heavy shot, and really understands how effective he can be by drifting and adjusting his position to look for those opportunities in the slot. He’s a true power forward in a sense because it all comes from building power through turns and the momentum of crossovers instead of quick adjustments and darting strikes. It can catch you off guard how much finesse and lateral pulls make a huge difference in those key rush spots. There are moments at U18 and U15 where his level of agility leaves him chasing the play both ways, and when placed in a WHL lineup, I’d imagine that will be the case at the beginning. There were a lot of improvements on his explosion and power coming from balance in his turns though which placed him in the middle of the play more often. The game at the WHL level will be to find him a linemate playmaker who is looking for him in shooting areas. You can take advantage of his scoring by leveraging cycle play instead of end to end speed rushes every time and if he is allowed to drift into the slot as a trailer shooter, he could be extremely effective.

With the size and power that Prabh has built out of his turns and momentum into the offensive zone allows him to be an inevitable goal scorer in Manitoba. If you give him time and space moving deeper into the slot, he can toe drag, change shot angles, and shoot heavy releases just above the pads. I think at the next levels if there's a playmaker off the wing who consistently looks for him as a trailer option, it could be lights out for teams. It might take him a little bit to get settled into the pace of WHL play, but he’s going to score goals. That’s for sure. He had 83 goals in 32 regular season U15 games and showed he could score at U17 and U18 already too.

He scored 83 goals in U15 this year and proved his power and shot release was translatable up to U17/U18 already. I watched some of his U18 games really closely and you can tell he’s making extra effort to explode out of his turns and try and apply pressure at 5on5. It is going to most likely take him a little bit to be able to find the pacing of the WHL at higher levels so he won’t be causing a lot of turnovers or really dominating a 200-foot game off the bat but with the right linemates that might not necessarily matter. He isn’t a player that dominates shifts necessarily but he dominates key moments in scoring areas. He can toe drag laterally on defenders, shoot extremely accurately and heavy in stride, and if you put him with quicker linemates who can cause a bit of ruckus and force turnovers, his shot can be a difference maker. He follows up his shot really well too and can bang in those second and third chances on the side of the net. In a cycle, he hurts for good spacing in the slot too.
