Lantz is a two-way defender with tremendous offensive upside. His skating allows him to jump up in the rush and be an offensive threat, while being able to recover to get back and play defense. He has great instincts on when to push the play up ice and when to sit back and let things develop in front of him. Lantz is a skilled player who moves the puck with ease, an ideal future number one defenseman. It would not be a surprise if Janesville loses Lantz to the USHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks, as he has already played 8 games with them this year.
