It doesn’t take long to see how much power Rieger possesses. His first few strides are pro level already which makes him hard to knock off the puck and dangerous in all three zones while in board battles or while on the puck pursuit. Reiger seems to take a bajillion shots a night and his release is very heavy when he has the time to step into it. He is the definition of a high-floor player when it comes to the NHL Draft as he has the speed and physicality to play. He can continue to expand his game by changing his shot angle, putting in more fakes and adding deception to his motions while diversifying his attack.
