He’s still quite the unrealized player despite taking huge strides forward this year. He’s got lots of room to grow physically which will help as he’s developing lateral stick handling, craftiness in his decision making, and loves getting higher whip on his shots on the PP from the sides. He was taking faceoffs, understands the tactics of what he’s attempting, and loves to defensively hound players when he can close on them up in the forecheck too. In watching him in games this season against bigger and stronger teams, you can see that if he develops physically to match some of their strength, his tactics will allow him to succeed more consistently.

With Brady, you get shot whip, puck control at reach, and when scoring chances arise he has a sense of the moment to burst into a seam backdoor or finish off a play with higher-end efficiency. At this point, I think what would jump him up higher in the rankings would be adding a bit of explosion through his turns, some determination on the forecheck through his edges more consistently, and challenging the play with a bit more overall confidence. I think Brady has tons of really translatable qualities though and a bit more power and pace would make him even more dangerous of a scoring threat.
