EVENT N/A
He was one of the top players on Pilot Mound U15 Prep last season and showed that his energy and attention to detailed play make him a consistent player shift in and shift out. I got to see him recently again at the CCM 68 event and while the ample details were present from pulling pucks off the boards, making chip outlets, hustling to loose pucks, and battling one on one, he did have trouble matching some of the pacing of the top players as their size and speed edged him out in moments. This year we will get to see him as a top player and a consistent scoring threat as he looks to take those habits and lead the way. I think with size and growth, those little things become more impactful.

EVENT 2025 CCM 68 Combine
I think it was a similar story to some of his teammates where the effort was palpable in chasing pucks at the corner and trying to turn play around but often he would get pushed off pucks or overpowered in heavier bursts. He’s smart and detailed with his positioning as he was one of the better ones to intentionally get inside position and drive his shoulder into his opponents on the inside. It also didn’t stop him from battling off faceoffs or down low while fishing for pucks. His determination to hound plays with stick pressure and attempting to get sticks around bodies was great to see too. He’s someone who is easier to cheer for because he’s got a lot of small habits that you wish others had. With added size and power, it will instantly improve the results.

Game Information Regina Spring Classic 2011s: Countermove Squad vs Pilot Mound Buffaloes
Brock was noticeably active, engaged, talkative, and followed up on his opportunities created with second efforts. He could be seen banging his stick on the ice in the slot, toe dragging players at a stand still impressively and finishing backhand shots in tight. He showed incredible awareness of spacing and timing at that moment. There were other moments off the rush where he attempted saucer passes over sticks and was another great example of timing and patience. I liked his ability to accelerate quickly on the backdoor of a 2on1 play too while keeping his posture open. He finished the game with three goals and an assist as credited on the sheet.
