The physical tools always pop in moments when I watch Bronx and this event was no different. He’s a big, strong, speedy player through the neutral zone who can extend his stride to burst past defenders if they don't anticipate him. He showed quality cut backs, drop passes, and circling wide with the puck in the zone. He even made a play where he wrapped around the back of the net without much consideration. I do think that his overall play was quite quiet though for someone who can dominate the game physically like he could. There were both quality give and go plays but also some decisions with the puck that led to turnovers or misplaced passes. With a bit more awareness without possession and some more assertiveness as a puck carrier, he could really ramp up his level of consistency.

When the puck is on Bronx’s still off the rush, he can dangle in high traffic, attack the net, really test defensemen laterally back and forth one on one, and isn’t afraid of taking the puck into multiple opponents. He can slice into the slot very quickly and also has the stickhandling to evade pressure behind the net in smaller windows of space. I thought that without the puck on his stick that he was often circling wide or letting pucks go through him a little easier than others. Seems like he was often a plane waiting for takeoff in the defensive end. The creativity and physical skills are all there as demonstrated by lateral slip passes off entries or dipping his shoulder for power moves to the crease once he got a step around a defender. Another high-end potential player for the draft.
