Strengths: Creativity, Stickhandling, Confidence
Development Opportunities: Size and strength, Skating extension
The Pilot Mound program was led by a creative giant in Cole Landreville this year. While his creativity and scoring touch was on display, he did it often as someone who did not have the speed or strength to go toe to toe against the bigger programs. You can see where the potential is though through his creativity and his demeanor as someone to attack one on one and attempt to get the best of his teammates too. He can attack off the rush, find the trailer with a touch pass, and understands how to hold onto the puck until he can shift into better shot space as well. This is an advantageous ranking as well since many after him definitely outweigh him and out pace him at 5on5. However, his scoring touch and his instincts should come to life ini layers as he grows and fills out physically. Hopefully you can see that when he’s 18/19 and is a strong scorer in the top-6.
