It wasn't the best game to catch London against a strong Huron-Perth side, but I still saw some flashes of Heath that made me note him as one to watch more of on the Knights. I liked that he was patient with the puck on his stick, showing signs of a smart puck manager, and never rushing his decisions. He seemed to constantly be scanning for threats and could escape his way out of danger with a methodical puck touch. I also noted there was some quickness and explosiveness to his skating, and I came thinking he's someone worth circling back on in a more evenly matched game for the Knights based on the small snippets I saw of what he could do.

Heath was the focal point of many sequences for the Knights, executing the simple but important plays to link things together and drive play. It wasn't anything flashy, but just smart decisions every time he touched the puck to spot the right play and ensure things flowed up ice with control. David was patient with the puck on his stick, taking his time to survey his options, and almost always made the right decision, making him fundamental to generating offensive zone time.

A handful of forwards on Team White fit this description, but I thought David did a great job at frequently attacking the middle of the ice. Whether it was off the rush or off the cycle, Heath was eager to attack the middle and try to penetrate for scoring chances. He showed flashes of quick lateral agility paired with slick puck skills, which aided him in his efforts to skirt defenders and navigate to the dangerous parts of the ice. David notched one of White's many goals through one of these sequences, picking up a loose puck in the offensive zone, walking to the middle of the ice and firing a shot by the keeper from medium distance.
