EVENT 2025 QMJHL Cup
At this point Morin’s physical tools are more exciting than the sum of their parts, as his effectiveness throughout the games in this tournament came more in spurts than on a consistent shift-to-shift basis. The tall and lanky forward had some of his best moments extending his puck touches along the perimeter in the offensive zone, executing fluid dekes around sticks to break down low in the zone before funneling pucks to the middle of the ice. As a bigger player I think he could stand to be more physically imposing and engaged, but he’s definitely a player with a lot more developmental runway than most thanks to his size and skill combination.

EVENT 2024 CCM Challenge
Morin is a player with a very intriguing archetype; a tall and skilled forward with room to fill in and a willingness to work his way to the middle of the ice. I liked how engaged he was in the offensive zone, always asserting himself in board battles along the perimeter, fishing pucks out and initiating cycle sequences. There were a handful of moments where he utilized his puck-skills and reach advantage to work his way off the halfwall by carving through poke checks and shrugging off contact to generate looks for himself in the middle of the ice. He flashed some playmaking skill off the rush as well, executing difficult saucer passes while in motion that lead to some dangerous cross-ice opportunities.
