2024 Steve Richey Tournament of Champions
Rousselle once again stole the show on the Grey-Bruce side, activating on almost every shift to rush the puck or jump up in the rush. He was constantly carrying the puck out of his zone, into the offensive third, and trying to attack for scoring chances. His confidence and lateral mobility to spin off and dodge any forechecker trying to close him down were remarkable and were once again at the core of his success. Finally, I found Dylan engaged defensively, taking away time and space from opponents and forcing countless turnovers. Dylan's mobility and raw talent have been apparent from day 1, making the potential so obvious, so he's one that I'm interested in following over the next few seasons to see how it all comes together.

2023 Marlboros Holiday Classic
Rouselle was his typical aggressive and involved self over the Holiday Classic. Dylan was constantly carrying the puck end-to-end, skirting any defender in his path, and being the primary puck transporter on the Grey Bruce side. His ability to thrive in transition was mainly possible due to his lateral mobility. He constantly was able to spin or side-step his way around a forechecker and continue on his path up ice. The story was the same in the offensive zone, as Dylan flexed the same mobility to evade oncoming pressure when he was at the point, and after maneuvering around them, he penetrated into the slot for scoring chances. There certainly is no shortage of puck skills and mobility in Dylan's game, and how he uses those constantly to impact transition is the key reason he landed on my rankings.

OMHA U16: Grey-Bruce vs. Burlington
Dylan was by far and away the most impactful player in this game. He was active in every area and the Highlanders' leading creator and playdriver. He was exceptional at jumping passes in the neutral zone, denying zone entries, and winning back possession of the puck. With the puck, he had the necessary puck skills and lateral mobility to evade any oncoming forechecker, and he was eager to flex these skills. All game long, Dylan carried the puck end to end, navigating around any defender who tried to close him down. An area I'd like to see Dylan improve in is that almost every time he successfully transitioned the puck and entered the offensive zone, his first read was to shoot on net. While he did score off one of these sequences, I'd like to see him scan for passing options and look to penetrate more to the interior rather than settle for shots from the outside. It's an easy fix, but it would help Dylan generate better-quality scoring chances for his team.
