EVENT General
Easton is a very smart forward, and was found using his awareness and soft puck touch to advance play in all three zones. It was these attributes which saw him high in the lineup for RHA U15 Prep last season. He’s got good depth in his turns, quick processing, and isn’t afraid to close a gap or finish a check defensively. He showed last year he knows how to navigate pacing with positioning last season when others may have been quicker but this year will be about showing what he can do as a pace setter and longer puck touch player.

Game Information CSSHL U15 Prep: Edge School vs Rink Hockey Academy
I think he was the be all and end all for offensive driving for Rink Winnipeg in this game. I thought his performance was truly excellent as he was purposeful on the forecheck, cutting off gaps, playing smart in the middle of the ice, and having that dual threat scorer and passer mentality. He was really buzzing in the third period and tried to dangle side to side or through defenders in very small moments. His late goal was relentless, full of puck skills and keeping his feet moving, while finding loose pucks in tougher spots. He isn’t the biggest or fastest, but man was he impressive this game.
