I found D’Agata to be a solid complimentary player for his linemates throughout this event as I al-ways found him sniffing around the puck, inserting himself into puck battles or finding spots away from the puck to be a quick passing option for the puck carrier. He’s able to read-and-react to the game rather quickly which allows him be an effective playmaker in small area passing plays below the hashmarks, showing the ability to quickly spot and connect with teammates by finding the holes in the defence and placing firm and accurate passes through seams. As a forward with good size at 5’10” , his reach and long skating stride allowed him to often be the first player onto loose pucks and in his own end, he proved to be a difficult player to shake off for opposing skaters as he was able to use his length to eliminate time and space from puck carriers as well as disrupt his opponents passing plays along with his strong positional play.
