EVENT Graham Tuer U15 Challenge
It is tough not to love the play from Jack as a smaller forward. He’s a tough centerman, forechecks with intensity and can accelerate his footspeed when he senses weakness, and uses that speed in straight line bursts to beat out icings and win puck races. I watched him attack players with stickhandling and skill along the outside which sometimes left players looking foolish while other times defense were able to poke it away to the corners. He possesses high-end puck control at top speed though which can be seen with simpler backhanded saucer passes for breakouts or changing speeds and angles quickly off the rush. I’m going to be watching him very closely because he was one of the most impressive players on the weekend.
