Jaillet is a defender whose success at this tournament centered primarily around his skating ability. He was almost constantly looking to insert himself into the play offensively, often acting as the fourth forward on a plethora of his shifts either as the trailer option or joining the cycle down low in the offensive zone. His lateral mobility allowed him to kill plays off the rush on the defensive side of things by guiding puck-carriers to the outside before closing them off along the boards.
