One of the offensive risers of the U15 league, Jaxon showed his speed off the rush to join pacing, break through a couple layers of pressure in transition, and how quick his hands are in motion to make slip passes laterally to linemates. I love the way the puck comes on and off his stick with intelligence and control. There were a couple moments that he bobbled pucks in transition and he’s certainly a player who battles against bigger and stronger opponents due to his size but the length of his skating stride even now makes it so that he can match pacing with almost anyone on the ice. I loved a little backcheck moment where he casually broke up what was a 2on1 at the time too. The biggest drawback that scouts will see is his size but so many of the elements as to why he succeeded this season got to show themselves.
