Game Information M18 AAA QUÉBEC: LAVAL-MONTRÉAL ROUSSEAU-ROYAL VS LÉVIS CHEVALIERS
St-Hilaire had a solid game and consistently demonstrated his offensive instincts throughout the night. Despite his smaller stature, he played with confidence, relying on his speed and skill to take advantage of open ice and opponents. St-Hilaire uses his adequate skating to navigate the ice effectively, and maintains good on-ice awareness during the transition game. He showed quick hands, creativity and an ability to make plays in the offensive zone. He’s got the vision and puck control that allows him to create chances, particularly when he has time and space to operate. However, his offensive impact was inconsistent at times, as I did not always find him convincing within structured offensive sequences that required quick reads, puck support and execution under pressure. His effectiveness in tighter areas was limited, not necessarily being the first player to battle along the boards in order to retrieve pucks out safely. Overall, St-Hilaire had several strong moments in this game, ultimately earning himself the third star.
