EVENT 2025 CCM Challenge
Proulx was one of the players who I thought did the most to improve their draft stock throughout the tournament, showcasing a tenacious and relentless style of play while finishing with 4 points in 5 games. He’s not the most technically gifted skater, but he continuously keeps his feet driving both with and without the puck, which made him difficult to contain in all situations. I noted plenty of solid plays in transition as a puck-carrier, taking strong routes through the neutral zone in order to gain the offensive line before looking to attack a defender head on 1v1 and use them as a screen to get a shot on net. I really liked his work ethic in the offensive zone, particularly off-puck where he constantly had his feet moving to get himself into open ice or win races to loose pucks which helped extend possession sequences.
