My notes on Salvo mainly revolved around him leveraging his tools (mostly his mobility) along with an aggressive style of play to create advantages for his team. He was consistently able to anticipate and react to the opponent’s intentions off the rush, allowing him to jump passing lanes in order to thwart their transition game and get play going the other way. His contributions in the offensive zone mainly consisted of him pinching down low in the zone to either cut off outlet attempts or retrieve loose pucks in order to keep possession alive. His puck-moving and decision making is still a work in progress, but he seemed to of gotten more and more comfortable with the puck as the tournament went along and should continue to grow in that area.
