I think Nash might be one of the contenders for most improved this season with NAX. He’s finished off this year strong in a lot of my viewings and has taken the bit of ice time and ran with it. I liked his addition on the second PP unit with leg kick shot releases from distance and that heavy one timer he has too. I think he’s using that added size and strength to bully players defensively net front and get more power on longer stretch passes up ice too. There were some pass attempts into higher traffic that seemed forced and his one defensive moment to try and be the last man back ended up with him half stumbling and then not being able to quite extend the stick long enough to get a piece of the shot. Overall though, I think his skating, decision making, confidence, and overall pacing have continued to very much improve.
