EVENT 2025 Monctonian
Leblanc played one of the more projectable games out of all the draft-eligible players at this event. At roughly 6’1 and 185 lbs his size advantage allowed him to win a majority of his battles along the wall in order to come out with the puck and send passes to the middle of the ice. He’s a very cerebral off-puck player as well, constantly drifting in and out of pockets in space to make himself a prime passing option while also supporting his linemates in close proximity in case things went awry. An intriguing part of his game was his ability to catch off-target passes and get shots off quickly which made him a solid one-touch scoring threat.

EVENT 2026 QMJHL Cup Atlantic Leg
While he wasn’t necessarily as dynamic as some of his counterparts LeBlanc more than made up for it by being one of their best cycle players through impressive playmaking off the wall and shrewd puck management. He was consistently able to use his frame to shield pucks from defenders down low in the offensive zone, allowing him to extend his puck touches and buy himself time to assess his options and allow seams to open up. I thought he was effective as a distributor off the rush as well, often attacking defenders head on to put them on their heels and allow space to open up high so he could execute drop passes to his linemates.
