I thought he was quite possibly the best skater of the group which showed in his ability to challenge players on the outside defensively by closing gaps and forcing them to dump pucks in through the neutral zone. He’s a bit quicker to cut and adjust to loose pucks, and showed he had a calm demeanor on the PP while distributing laterally and protecting possession in the hip pocket. I thought most of my views on him were certainly positive and he will be someone I’ll circle back on.
