Lammam was the most productive player on St. George’s backend, finishing with five points. He seems very athletic, which was evident in how much he loved to rush the puck and how easily he could gain the attacking zone with quick head fakes and shifty movement. In the offensive zone, he moved the puck well with pace and did a good job quarterbacking the team's second power-play unit. I also thought Tarik did a great job stretching the ice with long passes. He played a pretty aggressive offensive style, which saw him get caught up ice a few times, leading to odd-man rushes against, but when he was back defensively, he did a great job shutting down rushes in particular. He used an active stick and unique body positioning to shut down passing lanes and force low-percentage plays.

The team gives him lots of trust on the PP to create off cycles or spot passing lanes laterally. I think his vision is sound and he was throwing in little head fakes and hesitations to try and squeeze open those tighter passing lanes from the left side. I’d like to see him add a touch more quickness and power to his skating stride with deeper cuts as I think that would open up a bit more space for the intelligence of his decision making to shine.
