EVENT 2025 Hockey Québec M16 Camp
It didn’t take long to realize that Boisvert’s offensive skillset was a tier above the majority of players here at camp. He’s a tad bit undersized, but he more than makes up for it through his dynamic puck-carrying ability in transition and high-end playmaking which allowed him to generate chances for his linemates at a high rate. He was incredibly difficult to contain as he traversed through the neutral zone, utilizing both his hands and his feet to work through pressure and even utilizing deceptive headfakes to freeze defenders and easily work his way around them to execute a controlled entry into the offensive zone. Once he gained the zone, he consistently had his head up scanning for options before executing on cross-ice feeds through seams and hitting trailer options. I liked him as a shooter as well, as he scored a few impressive goals from distance by using defenders as a screen and displaying great accuracy to pick corners.

EVENT 2025 Cross Border Challenge
Despite being undersized, Boisvert’s overall skill level and awareness allowed him to be a consistent threat every time he stepped over the ice for Québec Blue. He’s a player who is constantly aware of his surroundings thanks to his scanning habits, which allows him to anticipate pressure accordingly and make subtle yet skilled plays to avoid pinching defenders and create advantages for himself and his linemates. He possesses the speed and quick handling ability to beat defenders 1v1 while also staying cognizant of the location of his linemates in order to connect on passes at top speed. He made a few effective chip plays in the neutral zone as well, getting pucks in behind defenders and bursting around them to recover it which lead to a few odd-man chances. He used his anticipatory habits in the neutral zone as well to telegraph play, jump into passing lanes and pick off passes before attacking into the offensive zone with speed and create scoring chances of counterattack sequences.
