Day 2: 2021 USA Hockey Select 16 Camp - Chris Pelosi continues to stake his claim as the top-power forward of this event on day #2. He’s a beast with the puck, and has no trouble walking around opponents in order to get the puck to the net. Regardless of his strong frame, Pelosi boasts impressive quickness and edgework that in this game, he used particularly well to pickpocket opponents in the offensive zone and line himself up for prime scoring opportunities. When he’s able to find space, which is quite frequent, Pelosi is able to release a powerful and accurate shot. He provides ample physical challenge in the offensive zone that makes it very challenging for his opponent defensemen to find composure and set up any kind of a breakout. Further, Pelosi was reliable and effective on the penalty kill, using an aggressive reach to both break up passes and mature composure to burn the clock either in the corners or while carrying the puck in open ice.
Day 1: 2021 USA Hockey Select 16 Camp - Perhaps the most significant growth since our last viewing of a player was observed in the day #1 performance of Christopher Pelosi. The power-forward has grown in terms of both size and strength, neither of which seem to have had a negative impact on his mobility. In fact, nearly all facets of Pelosi’s game seem to exceed our previous evaluations. One sequence of this game offered a comprehensive look at many of his improvements, which include a more timely release, a more powerful shot, a more efficient first stride and a stronger awareness of where to go to sustain offense. He was a very difficult player for Kelly Green to defend in this game, taking things a step further by elevating his patience and composure while scanning for optimal outlets in the attacking zone.

Using his substantial lower body strength well, Christopher Pelosi was regularly able to man-handle his opponents away from his body as he protected the puck on the opposite side of his body.
