Tavares’ motor never stopped this game. His tenaciousness stood out all game, especially on the penalty kill. He never gave the opposition no room to breathe which allowed him to force mistakes. He battled hard along the boards to try and regain possession for his team. His blend of size, strength and motor make him a very intriguing player.
